Bloom: A Screen Character Crafting Workshop

  • Summertown Studio 13 Paringa Avenue Somerton Park, SA, 5044 Australia (map)

Celebrate the start of Spring at Summertown Studio by connecting with your creativity.

Bloom: A Screen Character Crafting Workshop is a FREE event that helps to grow your idea for a film or television character from a tiny bud into a blossoming, breathing, action-taking, plot-forwarding protagonist!

Adopting a collaborative approach, Bloom will uncover where your characters come from, what drives them, and what stifles them. Whether you’re a curious, emerging or experienced writer, come for an evening of of character development, screenwriting craft, and generating creative energy.

We’ll work together to save our characters from their antagonists —or more likely— from themselves, to realise them as the thriving, evergreen heroes you knew they could be.
